Since the beginning of the year, Corum machine builders have produced 10 new roadheaders and shearer and 683,000 spare parts to support Ukrainian coal production
On the eve of the new heating season start, Corum (DTEK Energo) machine-building enterprises continue to help miners extract coal at all costs, which is important for the country, and prepare thermal power generation for winter.
During the eight months of 2024, machine builders produced and repaired 884 units of mining equipment. Among the key products are 10 new roadheaders and shearers.
Machine builders also provided the needs of miners with 683,000 spare parts and components.
This makes possible to increase the reliability of Ukrainian thermal power plants during the coming winter, providing them with sufficient amounts of fuel.
"There is a little more than a month left until the heating season. It will be another strength test for all of us. Therefore, we are mobilizing all resources to strengthen the energy front. Energy workers are restoring power plants 24/7, miners are intensively extracting coal, which is necessary for the reliable stations operation. And machine builders do everything to provide coal mining enterprises with all the necessary equipment for this," said Ildar Saleev, CEO of DTEK Energo.
