Shearer is standardized to operate with both chain and chainless cutting drums. Application of vertical rotation drums allows using the shearer in faces with minimum roof pressure. This excludes false roof falling and allows the customer to mine more “pure coal” with minimum rock content.
In cutting body applied a friction-type drum spread-decrease mechanism to regulate the height of seam cutting. Operation of shearer drums along the coal-bedding permits to decrease the load on shearer units and increase coal quality.
КА200 operates with chain feeding system and modern control and visualization system KD-A-EE, which allows to monitor main units load.
