To support Ukrainian coal production, machine builders produced 14 roadheaders and sharers and almost 1 million spare parts
With the start of heating season, Corum (DTEK Energo) machine-building plants continue to work hard and support Ukrainian miners needs in mining equipment.
In order for Ukraine to pass through the autumn-winter period more reliably, during this year first ten months, machine builders manufactured and repaired 695 mining equipment units. Main ones - 14 new roadheaders and shearers were released. In addition, almost 931,000 spare parts and components were provided to Ukrainian miners.
Thanks to machine builders work, miners continue to extract coal at the maximum and maintain the necessary reserves for reliable Ukrainian thermal power plants operation, as well as Ukraine energy system in total.
"Since the beginning of the war, it has historically happened that Ukrainians see only energy workers on the first echelons of energy front. But there are also those whose work is not so visible, but no less important. These are miners and machine builders. After all, thermal power plants, especially during the difficult heating season, must be provided with a sufficient amount of coal. And for this, all the needs of coal-mining enterprises in mining equipment must be fully met. We are doing everything possible for this," said Ildar Saleev, CEO of DTEK Energo.
