New assembly chart of a conveyor belt will increase equipment service life by half

5 Марта 2014

The infrastructure projects division of Corum has applied the new assembly chart for a driving unit in the course of manufacturing of a conveyor belt for a key customer DTEK.

Note that the use of double-reduction right-angle reduction gear unit during assembly will allow us to increase equipment service life in half. The chart with using of this type of gear unit has also made it possible to achieve minimum overall dimensions of drive installation, and reduce the time spent on assembly of equipment.

In order to increase reliability of units and the conveyor as a whole, as well as to provide the necessary start and brake modes in severe operation conditions, Corum company specialists have applied new generation components in the manufacture of equipment.

According to the Director of the Infrastructure projects division of Corum Group Vladimir Merzlikin, increasing requirements to machinery stimulates the manufacturer to growth of engineering and innovations. Our company is on the way to continuous improvement of equipment performance and the latest development is another good example for it.
