Over 100 Students Trained at Corum Svet Shakhtyora in 2015
“The scheme of personnel training was developed at our plant long ago. At first, we invite students to information visits; then, they return to us to undergo production and graduation practical trainings. In such a way, we support our training base and prepare a new generation of workers. Over 300 students with various professions are trained at our plant every year. By the way, we admitted four machine operators to work out of these students this May and June”, Aleksandr Kovalchuk, Director of Corum Svet Shakhtyora, says.
The plant actively cooperates with higher educational institutions, holds round table discussions, participates in developing educational programmes, practical training programmes, adapting them to the plant’s manufacture. Several professions, such as fettlers, hand and machine moulders, wood and metal pattern-makers, impact machine operators, are trained by Corum Svet Shakhtyora on an independent basis, as educational facilities do not train such specialists. For this purpose, Corum Svet Shakhtyora established its own training facility, where employees are trained by using our own resources. To this end, the company obtained and confirmed a vocational training, continuing education and further training licence.
The theoretical and practical personnel’s training is conducted by the plant’s industrial engineers and metal-makers, as well as experienced production workers. By the way, over 200 people were trained there during the first six months of 2015.
