Employees of Corum Krivorozhsky Plant of Mining Equipment Hold Master Class at Suziria Educational and Rehabilitation Centre
Together with the plant’s employees, twenty young pupils of the centre were actively preparing for the coming cheerful holiday, the Easter, by creating original postcards using quilling (an art form that involves the use of strips of paper that are rolled, shaped, and glued together to create decorative designs).
“This is not a first event under the corporate project “Collecting box of good works” that our company has been implementing since 2012”, said Oleksandr Tkach, the head of the youth union of Corum Krivorozhsky Plant of Mining Machinery. “Besides a quilling master class, we are planning to hold a friendly football match between the senior boys from the educational and rehabilitation centre in April and a master class in creating felt designs in May”.
“It is very important for our pupils to have creative master classes, as they are not only educative, but aesthetic. Despite of their problems with hearing and speaking, the children understood the plant’s volunteers quite well and even without finger-speech. I am convinced that both the plant's representatives and our pupils had many positive emotions", said Yuliia Esko, the headmaster of Children’s Educational and Rehabilitation Centre “Suziria”.
